Putting the Q to work, cleaning up the community!

Sue Bland had been getting increasingly disgusted by the amount of trash being thrown out onto our beautiful county roads. On Saturday February 16th she took it upon herself to recruit her son Adam Bland, and the Quantum Ink Company pickup truck to help clean up trash along the stretch of road between Cedar Grove Elementary School and the Heritage Hills Golf course entrance. In that small stretch of highway, roughly ½ of a mile, 10 55-gallon plastic bags of trash were picked up. Yes, I said 10 full sized 55-gallon bags full of Trash.

Sue is in hopes that the article published in the Pioneer News this week, will bring awareness to this increasing, disgusting problem. Bullitt County is a very beautiful place to live, and she hopes this article will make people think before throwing their trash out onto our roadways.
